Grouper Piccata with a Light New Berg Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 4 (8 oz.) filleted grouper, about 1" thick
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 oz. white wine
  • 1 package of pre mix New Berg Sauce
  • 1/4 cup of Lemon juice
  • 2 or 3 oz. of capers
  • Teaspoon of salt
  • Teaspoon of Pepper
  • Tablespoon of Parsley (Garnish)

Preparation


Dip grouper filets into milk and then in salt and pepper flour, make sure to coat both sides

Heat the butter on medium heat in a large non-stick pan. When the butter is hot, immediately begin sauteeing the grouper for about 4 minutes untill edges are starting to turn golden brown. Keeping cooking for another 2 minutes while

De-glazing the pan with 3 oz. of white wine and cook off the wine. Sprinkle 2 to 3 oz. of capers over the fish

Then add your favorite pre cooked New Berg sauce mix and pour over your Grouper in a foil covered baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 to 15 min. untill sauce thickens.

Serve over rice or pasta and enjoy!
