Venison in (Tostones) Plaintain Cups. Ingredients
  • 1lb. of ground venison
  • 2 Cups of chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup of chopped spainish olives.
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2/ cup butter
  • 2 tbl balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbl worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 small can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 2 chopped jalapeno peppers (if desired)
  • 2 packages Tostones ( in the freezer section of the supermarket.)

Preparation


This is a beautiful and very tasty dish.

Chop celery, onions, olives, and jalapenos.

Melt butter in a sauce pan, and brown the venison.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Simmer approximately 10 min.

Spoon the venison mixture into the tostones and place on a cookie sheet.

Sprinkle the grated cheese on the top.

You can deep fry these in a deep fryer or bake them in the oven until the tostones are a golden brown. Brush each cup with a bit of olive oil to aid in the baking process.
